Welcome, James Thorne!

We’re excited to officially welcome James Thorne to the team as our new Assistant Project Manager!

James joins emesen with a strong foundation in business and project management, having earned his degree in Business Management and Marketing from UWE and later completing the APM Project Management qualification. His early career included a hybrid procurement and delivery role at SmithBrewer, where he played a key part in sourcing and delivering Flannels stores across the UK.

James quickly progressed to managing flagship Sports Direct projects, including major stores in Cardiff, Meadowhall, and Manchester Trafford Centre — as well as contributing to the brand’s first European venture in Madrid.

His hands-on experience, strategic mindset, and passion for delivering high-quality outcomes make him a fantastic addition to the team.
