Bradford Park Refurbishment for Curo

The Bradford Park Flats programme was a comprehensive refurbishment project undertaken to modernise three residential blocks containing a total of 48 homes. The scheme sought to significantly improve the quality, comfort, and long-term usability of the accommodation while also enhancing the communal and external areas that support residents' day-to-day living.

The works involved a full internal refurbishment of each flat, including upgrades to internal finishes, services, and layouts where required. Within the shared spaces, the project introduced improvements to circulation areas, access routes, and amenity spaces, creating more welcoming and functional environments for residents.

A key element of the scheme was the remodelling of internal layouts within both the individual flats and the communal areas. This was undertaken to make better use of available space, improve accessibility, and support more efficient building operations. Alongside this, a programme of component renewal ensured that building systems and elements were updated to meet contemporary standards for safety, energy efficiency, and durability.

Externally, the project delivered upgrades to the building fabric and the surrounding environment. These works enhanced the visual appearance of the blocks and improved the quality of shared outdoor spaces, providing a more pleasant and secure setting for residents.

The cost management and commercial support provided on this project were delivered by a member of our team during their previous employment. Responsibilities included preparing and managing cost plans, monitoring budgets, providing procurement input, and supporting financial control throughout the design and delivery stages.
